Get Out of Your House

One day (not so long ago) while I was chatting with my dad, he made an analogy which was actually quite funny but definitely interesting!

(Wow...I just realised this post is quite relevant to a forthcoming day! Read on...)

You see my dad made this analogy that.....'things' won't exactly 'work out' if everyone stayed inside their house waiting for other people to come along to visit them. As you see the streets will just be empty because everyone will be stuck sitting inside their room waiting and waiting for 'anyone' to come along.

Instead (as my dad put it), everyone should get out of their seat and go knock on the doors of the others...if you are to want 'anything' to happen!

As you can see this analogy is of course reflecting on the fact that if you would like to find your other 1/2, soul mate, partner....whatever you are looking for or would like to call.....you need to get out of your house and go and meet people or go knock on a 'specific' door! If everyone stayed wiating inside, no one will ever find anyone!!!!!! Instead if everyone get of their houses, you never know your luck and may meet someone new just by getting out on the streets! : P

haha please don't ask me how I came to having such a conversation with dad...but this is an interesting little analogy from dad (especially when it was told in Chinese)! : P

Originally I only wanted to write a post to document this analogy from dad...haha but I guess it's just in time for the 'Day of the Valentines' which is exactly next week! So let me wish everyone a Happy Valentines first! And for those who are still singles..."祝你早日找到如意郎君" (inverse to the guys) 加油吧!!! : P

(P.S. - To my friends who actually know me...haha this post is dedicated to you guys ga...it projects no reflections on me and it's just to doc. the interesting little analogy from my dad...so plz dun ask me..."What abt U!?" : P hehe)
