Just wanted to share a song today by 薛凱琪 (Fiona Sit) called 給十年後的我. Interestingly when this song first came out in Fiona's album, I didn't pay much attention to it. However in Fiona's last album called, 'Smile', this song was added as a bonus track and remade as a duet featuring 湯駿業 accompanied with a piano only. This time it caught my attention straight away! Every time when I listen to it, it left me with a deep feeling, in close rapport with its audience. I am not sure why I like this version so much more. May be it's because it was done only in piano version, which once again appealed to my feelings. Or may be it's because it was redone as a duet with the harmony of a male and a female that made it so much better this time!?

(Wyman) has once again wrote some beautiful and direct lyrics. The song title, 給十年後的我 (to me in 10 years time), already gave the context of the song. If you read the lyrics below....haha I guess really it does make you think about life and time. These 'would be' the questions that you would ask and wonder in the present....what it'll be like in 10 years time:

All these questions.... you wonder about the future and yet you can already give answers to for the last 10 years you've lived. This little song is short but it's so true, so true.....the importance of knowing how to reflect on your life. I would like to send this to the me in 10 years time too:

(PS - this duet version was actually remade for the stage play in HK called "Last Smile, First Tear". I'm actually quite curious about the play, wonder if it's any good??? May be I can catch it later in DVD!):
